2 ½” Face Aluminum Curtain Wall Framing Systems

2 ½” Face Aluminum Curtain Wall Framing Systems

Optional Frame Depths from 3 3/4" to 11 3/4"
Incorporates Thermally Broken Sub Frame
Dual Finish Inside/Outside

The CW2500 series aluminum curtain wall is recommended for use as an exterior glazed, thermally improved system. This system allows for each window unit to be wept individually. It will allow for up to 1″ infill glazed towards the frame exterior. The overall frame depth can vary from 3 3/4″ to 11 3/4″ utilizing different snap covers and back members. Furthermore, the snap covers allow for dual finish options from interior and exterior applications.

In order to fulfill our mission of long lasting products, Cross Aluminum incorporates its heavy duty thermally broken sub frame into the CW2500 aluminum curtain wall series at each door opening. This sub frame can also be dual finish and allows the use of our heavy duty door stop.

Heavy Duty door stop

Our heavy duty door stop was introduced as a means to deal with a couple common problems after doors are installed. The taller height allows for a better seal around the door opening perimeter. Furthermore, the thicker wall provides the strength required for closer parallel arm brackets and rim strikes to be mounted worry-free for years after installation.

World Class Quality. Full range of finishes and colors.

Anodizing aluminum is an electrochemical process that oxidizes the material. This provides a protective layer around the aluminum. Anodizing allows the finished products to be corrosion resistant and maintenance-free for years. Cross Aluminum only utilizes the Acid Etch Anodize process in order to improve product finish quality and color consistency. Furthermore, acid etching can reduce up to 90% of the aluminum sludge and waste used in typical caustic etch anodizing processes.

Simplicity at its finest. Secure Glaze Technology.

Cross Aluminum has always distinctively designed glazing to enhance the structural strength of the door. Every glazed entrance at Cross Aluminum will come with a secure non-removeable exterior glass stop.  Glazing kits are unacceptable and compromise the strength and security of any entrance, that is why our glazing is incorporated as part of the structure of the door. Furthermore, all glazing parts will match the finish of the door, unless specified otherwise.
